Taking the Social Media Plunge
As an Interior Designer and a Licensed General Contractor, I typically spend my days managing my jobsites, shopping, either with or for a client, drawing plans or creating concept boards. Although these aspects of my business keep me very busy, I have been feeling a little one sided lately because I spend very little time paying attention to the rest of the design world. Don’t get me wrong, I go online often for inspiration all the time and to keep up with trends, but I’m not on twitter or snapchat (in fact I just found out what snapchat was like a minute ago). I am on Facebook and Instagram (yay me) but let’s face it, so is everyone else including my 72 yr. old mother. (no offence mom, Love you)
So, in an effort to not only stay current and relative in this world of design which I love by acquiring inspiration and ideas from other Designers all around the world, I am taking the plunge myself to share some my work, my style, my love of design, and a little bit of myself in hopes of inspiring others to try something new and different in Design or in life. So, here we go!
